These video files have been moved to a faster server, so finally, you don't have to suffer through my ADSL upload cap of 128kbps.

New from our Digital Camcorder

Your best bet with these large files is to right click on the link, then select "Save Target As" to create a local, smooth-running copy. If you do want to just click the link, you may be able to click "pause" in your player software and wait for the transfer to complete. Then the video should play back smoothly.

Extreme Alley 2001

The first video we made after getting our Digital Camcorder -- Skateboarding and Scooting. Andrew's class at school really enjoyed this one. (We changed "Rated I for Idiotic" to "Rated H for Hilarious" for the "edited for school" version.)

Boomerang Catch & Bionic Jumps

Another of Andrew's "Show and Tell" videos. The second segment of this one has spectacular 70's-action-show-quality special effects.

New Stunt Video -- My sister Chris and my nephew Cameron were down for a visit and also went on a trip to the amusement parks in San Antonio with Michelle, Andrew, and Holly.  Though the boys didn't do their usual trip to the skate park, they did do some skating and other antics in the alley, some of which they caught on digital video tape. I took the liberty of editing a few clips together in the style of a certain Johnny Knoxville-hosted TV show. Grab the basic MPEG version here (10MB), or if your computer is powerful enough and you download the proper CODEC from www.divx.com, you can get a much higher quality DivX version here (23MB).

Proof-of-concept for bluescreen compositing with video. Click for low-res clip (5.5MB) or get this smaller, High-res clip (3.5 MB) with DIVX compression. They are both just 14 seconds long.

You may need the DIVX software which you can grab here.

Note that these are just a test. We'll get some better stuff put together over the Christmas break.
